THE VISION

Environmental Engineering Department as a higher education should be a center of science and technology that builds competitive and outstanding graduates. They have dignity to develop technology and management especially on environmental related matters such as settlement, urban-rural environment, industry, mining, and natural environment.

In accordance with other fields of study in ITB, the Department of Environmental Engineering should lead to a prosperous nation under sustained natural resources.

THE MISSION

1. Preparing graduates that are reliable in handling Environmental Engineering problems especially in built environment and they are capable to develop it through comprehension on environmental management.
2. Preparing graduates that professionally solve engineering problems and they are capable to compete with other graduates from other universities in the country or overseas in getting jobs in Indonesia or even overseas.
3. Preparing experts and scientists that have intention on developing science and technology for solving environmental problems especially in Indonesia.
4. As a part of Bandung Institute of Technology that declares as Research-Based University, the EnvE is expected to contribute in developing science and technology through research and community services that give advantages to Indonesia.
